In their own words

Doxy.me

Doxy.me is a browser-based telehealth video platform for healthcare providers. Patients can join from a link without downloading an app or logging in. Listed video tools include adaptive HD video, virtual backgrounds, group calls, screen sharing, pausing a session and picture-in-picture. Premium adds a virtual waiting room, patient queue, email and SMS invitations, notifications, shared rooms and transfers between providers. Its apps include assessments, EMDR and CBT activities, file transfer, interpreter support, Stripe payments, photo capture, session recording, a scribe, teleconsent and transcripts. For web-based EHRs, a documented workflow can open a patient profile from a call using an EHR URL and patient identifier. Doxy.me says calls and messages are encrypted and lists HIPAA, SOC 2, GDPR and CCPA compliance credentials. Premium includes a business associate agreement, and group calls support up to 25 participants. A free version is available for providers starting out, using telehealth infrequently or avoiding another cost; Premium has a free trial with no credit card required. The service supports web browsers on Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge, plus mobile browsers on iPhone and Android.
