Overview

A live dashboard and whiteboard bring schedules, patient status, staff notes, and room assignments into one operational view. That is useful when a clinic needs staff to coordinate around changing room and patient status, not just consult an appointment calendar. NaVetor is from Patterson and runs on the web, Android, and iOS.

Every plan includes unlimited storage and automatic backups, plus data conversion, training, and 90-day onboarding support at no extra charge. Patterson says it handles migration and go-live support, with most practices live within 30 days. That reduces the transition burden, though the stated onboarding window is finite.

Key features

Scheduling and clinic coordination

The calendar supports drag-and-drop scheduling, multiple doctors and rooms, recurring appointments, and block scheduling. Email and SMS reminders, along with booking through a clinic website or client portal, cover common ways clients arrange and confirm visits. These tools make the system a fit for practices coordinating multiple providers or recurring care; the live whiteboard adds a shared view of clinic activity.

Records, care, and communications

SOAP records connect to treatment plans, charge capture, and client communications. Linking documentation to related care and billing steps can help keep clinical and administrative work together rather than splitting it across separate processes.

Telemedicine and diagnostics

Video visits launch from a patient record, with notes, charges, and prescriptions captured in that workflow. Two-way integrations with IDEXX, Antech, and Zoetis let practices order tests and receive results through NaVetor. This will matter most to clinics that want remote visits and diagnostic work connected to the patient record.

Integrations and Atlas

The integration list includes Asteris PACS, Patterson Pay, CareCredit, eShelf, Vetsource, Weave, Talkatoo, PetLink, and HomeAgain. Atlas can look up practice information, assist with inventory and scheduling, draft client communications, create lists, and identify business insights. NaVetor says Atlas queries use the practice's own data and that none of that data is shared externally.

Pricing

The Patterson Pay plan is free when using Patterson payment services, subject to transaction-volume eligibility, and includes full feature access. It is the lowest-cost route, but it is not an unconditional free tier: clinics must qualify through payment-service use.

Solo Practice: $200/mo for 1–3 users, with all features included. It is the entry paid plan for a small practice.
Growing Practice: $300/mo for 4–10 users, with all features included. It raises the user allowance without dropping features.
Mid-Size Clinic: $350/mo for 11–20 users, with all features included.
Large Practice: $400/mo for 21–30 users, with all features included.
Enterprise: custom pricing starting at $550/mo for 31+ users, with all features included. Larger clinics should confirm their custom terms.

The paid tiers scale by user count rather than feature set, so smaller plans do not give up listed capabilities. Unlimited storage, backups, conversion, training, and onboarding support apply across plans. A 15-day trial is also offered.

Platforms

NaVetor runs on web, Android, and iOS. That combination suits clinics needing desktop access alongside mobile use. Website and client-portal booking, plus email and SMS reminders, extend its client-facing workflows.

Who it's for

NaVetor is best suited to veterinary practices that want scheduling, SOAP records, treatment and charge workflows, telemedicine, and diagnostics tied together. Its user-count tiers span solo practices to enterprise clinics, and Patterson's included migration and training make it particularly relevant to practices changing systems. A clinic seeking a free plan without Patterson Pay eligibility should look elsewhere.

Pros and cons

Pros: All plans include the full feature set, so scaling by staff count does not mean losing listed capabilities.
Pros: Unlimited storage, backups, data conversion, training, and 90-day onboarding support are included, reducing migration and setup costs.
Pros: Telemedicine and named diagnostic integrations connect remote visits and test workflows to patient records.
Cons: The free plan requires Patterson Pay use and eligibility by transaction volume, limiting who can use it.
Cons: Paid pricing starts at $200/mo and rises with user count; enterprise pricing is custom from $550/mo.

Alternatives

ezyVet may suit a practice that wants a cloud veterinary management system with packages starting at $199 per month, with pricing varying by practice size.

VETport has a stated $1,405 per month plan for 3 locations and 10 vets, making it a specific option for practices with that multi-location configuration.

DaySmart Vet starts at $123/month, with pricing varying by practice and custom pricing for larger practices, so it may merit a look when a lower starting price is the priority.

Provet Cloud offers a Core platform fee of $249 per month with one vet included, and a Core option at $99 per month with unlimited non-vet staff accounts; compare its published seat structure against NaVetor's user-count tiers.

Vetstar is a paid option available as self-hosted or web software.

VetBlue is another paid option, with Android, iOS, macOS, web, and Windows platforms.

Verdict

Choose NaVetor if your clinic wants an all-feature plan scaled to staff size, integrated clinical and operational workflows, and migration and training included. Its chief drawback is the cost for larger teams and a free tier tied to Patterson Pay eligibility; practices seeking an unconditional free option or a lower starting price should compare alternatives.
