Overview

Navigate360 brings student records, support workflows, communications, and analytics into a cloud service. Staff can coordinate cases and referrals, alerts, appointments, events, campaigns, two-way SMS, and faculty progress reports; students can use the engagement hub for conversations, surveys, advising, career tools, and self-reported concerns. This range makes it relevant beyond an advising office, but it is more platform than a school seeking only a small, isolated advising utility may need.

Institutions can use SIS data and optionally add LMS, Common App, or custom data. Connections include systems with standard integration points such as email and calendars, and data can be exported through APIs or regular bulk exports. That makes the product adaptable to campus data flows, while the fit depends on an institution's existing technology scope.

Key features

Staff coordination and student engagement

Profiles, coordinated care, case and referral management, alerts, messaging, appointments, and progress reports give staff multiple routes to identify needs and follow up. Students can surface concerns themselves and engage through mobile or desktop experiences. The combination suits institutions trying to connect staff intervention with student-facing services rather than managing those activities separately.

AI assistance and analytics

Embedded AI can assist staff with outreach, reports, meeting summaries, and follow-up; student-facing AI can answer questions and route students to support around the clock. Reporting spans dashboards, query and visualization tools, scheduled reports, intervention and population analytics, predictive models, and exports. These tools support both day-to-day follow-up and broader analysis, though institutions will need to decide how these capabilities fit their own processes and data practices.

Implementation, support, and compliance

EAB describes a cloud-based SaaS product hosted on AWS and accessible through browsers. Its team says partners can be live in under 100 days. Partners receive a dedicated Strategic Leader, 24/7/365 technical support, implementation training, office hours, and more than 350 self-paced training modules. EAB says it follows FERPA and GDPR practices and requirements; its Trust Center covers FERPA, GDPR, SOC 2 Type 2, CCPA, and VPAT. These institutional services and compliance areas are relevant for campus-wide deployments, not substitutes for an institution's own review.

Pricing

Navigate360: custom pricing, based on institutional enrollment and technology scope. The enterprise license covers all staff and students, with no per-user or per-office license fees. That structure may suit institutions deploying broadly across campus; it offers less appeal to a small team that wants a limited license or an upfront public price. The product is paid, and no trial or free plan is described.

Platforms

Navigate360 is available on web, iOS, and Android, with API support. The student hub includes iPhone, Android, and desktop app experiences, while the underlying SaaS service is browser-accessible. Mobile access helps support student engagement away from a desktop; institutions evaluating the platform should also account for its integration and data-export needs.

Who it's for

The product serves two-year and four-year public and private institutions, including community colleges, HBCUs, technical systems, and graduate and online programs. It is a stronger fit for institutions seeking coordinated recruitment, student support, and engagement than for schools with a narrowly scoped advising requirement. Degree audit, degree planning, early alerts, intervention workflows, and a student planning portal are included in its capabilities.

Pros and cons

Pros: A single enterprise license covers staff and students without per-user or per-office fees, which supports broad campus deployment.
Pros: Staff workflows, student engagement, AI assistance, and analytics span more of the student journey than advising alone.
Pros: API and bulk exports, alongside SIS and optional additional data, give institutions multiple ways to work with campus information.
Cons: Custom pricing depends on enrollment and technology scope, so buyers cannot readily compare a fixed published rate.
Cons: The enterprise-wide scope may be unnecessary for a school seeking only a small advising tool.
Cons: Deployment involves campus systems and implementation planning, making it a substantial institutional decision rather than a lightweight standalone purchase.

Alternatives

FlightPath is the free alternative for institutions willing to self-host: its Community Edition is free and requires a self-hosted web server, MySQL, and PHP 7.4 or PHP 8.x.

For admissions and enrollment, Slate offers a paid license for fewer than 1,500 annual submitted applications at 30000.00 USD per year, for a single database and license.

Civitas Advising is another paid advising platform, with annual subscription pricing requiring a quote and scaling to institution size and integrated systems.

ConexED Retain, Stellic, Ellucian Advising, and HighPoint Degree Planner are other paid options.

Verdict

Choose Navigate360 if your institution wants an enterprise-wide system linking staff support workflows with student engagement, analytics, and data exchange. Its main advantage is that breadth under a license without per-user or per-office fees; its main drawback is custom pricing and the scale of the commitment. Institutions that need only one focused capability should compare narrower alternatives before committing.
