Overview

Safesite brings routine safety work and incident handling together: teams can record inspections, meetings, hazards, observations, equipment checks and incident reports. That breadth is useful when managers need a shared record of field activity as well as a view of program performance; it may be more than a team needs if its only requirement is a standalone checklist.

Key features

Inspections and corrective work

Users can schedule and track inspections, create safety tasks, raise hazards and use or customize compliance checklists. Corrective actions, safety training and hazard assessments are also supported. The combination helps teams connect inspection findings with follow-up rather than treating each inspection as an isolated record.

Incident records and oversight

Incident reports can capture information, notify stakeholders and be added to an OSHA log. The management dashboard adds leading-indicator analytics, a Safesite Score and compliance reporting, giving managers a way to review activity beyond individual reports. The free plan restricts reporting to the last 30 days, which limits its usefulness for longer-term review.

Offline work, security and support

Safesite says its core features work offline and saved work syncs automatically once connectivity returns, a practical advantage for field teams with unreliable service. It says customer data is encrypted in transit with TLS/SSL and at rest in its AWS-hosted database, and that independent security researchers conduct ongoing penetration testing, security scans and threat detection.

The app supports English, Spanish, French and Portuguese. Support is in English and Spanish: free accounts receive it for their first 30 days, while Premium and Enterprise subscribers receive ongoing premium support.

Pricing

Safesite uses a freemium model, with a free plan, paid plans from $16/user/mo and a 30-day trial.

Plan	Price	What it includes
Free	0.00 USD per free	Unlimited members and guests; reporting restricted to the last 30 days.
Premium	16.00 USD per month	Billed per member, per month. Includes unrestricted and group reporting and an OSHA 300 recordable incident log. Monthly or annual billing is offered, with a 20% annual discount.
Insurance Services	Custom pricing	Ask your broker about Foresight. Includes workers’ compensation and Premium features.

Free suits organizations that want to start with unlimited members and guests, provided a 30-day reporting window is enough. Premium is the more appropriate fit when managers need historical or group reporting and an OSHA 300 log; its per-member charge means the monthly cost grows with the number of members. The Insurance Services option is for organizations pursuing workers’ compensation through Foresight, with pricing handled through a broker.

Platforms

Safesite runs on Android, iOS and the web. Mobile users can use the apps from the Apple App Store and Google Play or a browser-based mobile interface. An organization administrator must first create an account through the desktop portal before mobile users can join projects, so teams cannot begin with mobile sign-up alone.

New users outside the US, Canada, Brazil and Mexico cannot download the app from app stores; Safesite recommends the browser interface instead. That makes the web route important for teams in other regions.

Who it's for

Safesite is a strong fit for organizations coordinating recurring inspections and other field safety tasks while needing incident documentation and management-level reporting. Offline support is particularly relevant to teams working where connectivity is inconsistent. It is a weaker fit for teams that need more than 30 days of reporting without paying, or for organizations that expect employees to join solely through an app-store download before an administrator sets up the account.

Pros and cons

Pros: Offline support with automatic sync helps preserve field work when connectivity drops.
Pros: Inspection scheduling, task creation, hazard reporting and incident records connect everyday safety activity with oversight tools.
Pros: The free plan allows unlimited members and guests, making it possible to begin without a per-member subscription.
Cons: Free-plan reporting covers only the last 30 days, so longer-term review requires Premium.
Cons: Mobile onboarding requires an administrator to create the organization account on the desktop portal first.
Cons: App-store downloads are unavailable to new users outside the US, Canada, Brazil and Mexico, leaving the browser interface as the recommended route.

Simple Safety Coach offers a plan for up to 25 managed employees at 275.00 USD per year; consider it if that employee cap suits your team.

Verdict

Choose Safesite if your organization needs field safety workflows, incident handling and management reporting in one platform, especially where offline work matters. Its unlimited-member free tier lowers the barrier to starting, but the 30-day reporting cap is a real constraint. Look elsewhere if you need longer reporting history without upgrading or cannot accommodate its administrator-first mobile setup and regional app-store limitation.
