EDITED Pricing vs o9 Retail Planning

EDITED Pricing is a retail platform module for building price architectures, adjusting item prices and planning promotions. It draws on a retailer’s own prices, competitor pricing and customer reactions to surface opportunities, including items to consider for increases or decreases. Teams can create rules to automate price changes, and product matching helps benchmark prices against similar market items. For promotions, EDITED describes a data-backed approach to moving inventory, with promotion and markdown optimization rather than blanket markdowns. Configurable dashboard widgets combine market insights and can show competitive data alongside business performance. The wider platform also provides retail analysis, trend and runway articles created by in-house analysts using platform data. EDITED is available on the web and through an API. Its Market API supplies JSON data for customer-selected systems and BI tools such as Tableau, Looker, Power BI and Google Data Studio. EDITED MCP connects by API key to Claude Code, Claude Desktop or a customer’s own agent; Cursor and GitHub Copilot are also listed as supported developer tools. A 14-day AskEDITED trial is available. Pricing for the module is on request.
