In their own words
eG Enterprise
eG Enterprise is an application and infrastructure monitoring platform from eG Innovations, founded in 2001 and headquartered in Singapore. It correlates user experience, application behavior, and infrastructure health to help identify why applications are slow. Transaction tracing follows Java and.NET activity across application tiers, including errors, database queries, and remote service calls. Agentless digital user experience monitoring identifies slow pages, affected locations, and whether delays arise in browsers, networks, content, or server processing. The Web App Simulator records and replays journeys, runs scripts from multiple locations, and captures failure screenshots. Coverage spans more than 650 technologies across applications, clouds, virtualization, operating systems, storage, networks, custom applications, and containers. Deployment can be SaaS or on premises for cloud, hybrid, and on-premises environments. Service desk, orchestration, DevOps, and ServiceNow integrations support incident workflows. Pricing starts at $100 per month, with a 21-day trial and no free plan.
ManageEngine DEX Manager Plus
ManageEngine DEX Manager Plus collects endpoint experience data and turns it into analytics for monitoring and improving employees’ digital journeys. Its DEX Score combines performance, sentiment, and stability measures. Monitoring includes application crashes, hardware resource use, device reliability, responsiveness, and employee sentiment. The product groups related alerts into prioritized insights to support troubleshooting and root cause analysis. No-code workflows can clear temporary files, restart services, and apply fixes across device groups. Its action library includes collectors, workflows, scripts, and dashboards, with PowerShell, Batch, and CMD support. Active Directory integration can import domain-linked devices, create organizational-unit groups, and deploy agents using existing credentials. The cloud service uses a browser console and endpoint agents, with an optional distribution server for remote offices; agents are documented for Windows, macOS, and Linux. A 30-day trial covers unlimited devices, although cloud access is subscription-only. Monthly Professional Edition prices range from $49 a month for 50 computers and one technician to $634 a month for 1000 computers and one technician.
