In their own words
elapseit
elapseit is a cloud-based project and workforce management platform covering resource planning, time tracking and project management through invoicing. Its resource planner displays present and future allocations and supports workload and capacity forecasting. Timesheets can be prefilled from resource schedules, and time off tracking includes approval workflows. The Complete plan adds task management, Kanban boards and Gantt views with dependencies. Users can track billable and non-billable expenses, then create invoices from timesheets or expenses in multiple currencies and languages. Reports can be exported as CSV or PDF, and a documented Xero integration connects accounts and copies or updates invoices. The public REST API uses token authentication, supports OData filters and is available to customers free by request. Startup is free for fewer than 10 users and two projects. Resourcing costs $12.60 a month billed annually and includes unlimited users and projects; Complete costs $18.90 a month billed annually. The platform is listed for Android, iOS, web and API.
Tick
Tick tracks team time against project and task budgets for project management and billing. Users select a project and task, enter time, add notes, and view budget feedback or reports. In-app timers can track one timer or multiple timers, and timers can be created from completed entries. After time is entered, team members see remaining project and task budgets. Reports can be organized by client or timekeeper. Tick lists integrations with Asana, Trello, Zapier, Metric.ai, QuickBooks Online, and Basecamp, and says it connects to 750+ web apps. Apps include iOS, Android, Apple Watch, Mac, and Chrome, with an API using REST concepts and JSON serialization. A free plan covers one project with unlimited people, clients, tasks, and archived projects. Paid plans cost $19 a month for 10 projects, 49.00 for 30, 79.00 for 60, or 149.00 for unlimited projects. A 30-day trial is listed.
