In their own words
Embrace
Embrace is a real user monitoring platform for mobile and web that connects technical performance with individual user sessions. Mobile monitoring captures sessions and provides crash, ANR, network and performance insights. Web monitoring includes session timelines, Core Web Vitals, error reporting, custom metrics and alerting. Crashes, network requests, custom events and Core Web Vitals can be viewed in session context. The platform is built on OpenTelemetry; Embrace says customers own their data and can connect it to other tools. Documented instrumentation covers Android, iOS, web, React Native, Unity and Flutter. Dashboards, SLO support and user journey analysis are available, and data can be forwarded through data destination and OpenTelemetry interfaces. Mobile and web sessions count toward the same usage total. The free tier allows up to 1 million sessions per year and five users, with three days of event retention; reaching either cap stops additional ingestion or user additions unless the customer upgrades. Pro is listed at $0.80 per month, with an $80 monthly minimum spend. A 30-day trial is listed.
Rollbar
Rollbar is a code-first observability platform connecting error monitoring, session replays, and releases. It displays when errors happen, groups similar issues, and supplies context and source-control integration to help teams investigate causes. Session Replay pairs browser activity with related errors, giving teams a way to examine frontend problems. Rollbar Resolve reviews code and can open a pull request proposing a fix for approval.
Listed SDK and framework support includes JavaScript, iOS, Android, Go, Java,.NET, Node.js, PHP, Python, React, and Ruby. Integrations include GitHub, GitLab, Jira, PagerDuty, OpsGenie, Microsoft Teams, Slack-related alert workflows, and an MCP server. Rollbar states that it is SOC 2 and ISO 27001 certified. The Free plan includes 5,000 occurrences and 1,000 sessions per month; the plan comparison lists a 30-day maximum retention period for that plan. Pricing is listed as free, with paid plans from $9/mo and a 14-day trial. Advanced lists up to 180 days of retention, while Enterprise offers custom volume and retention for teams requiring more than 80 million events.
