In their own words
Emburse Spend
Emburse Spend is a spend management platform for small and growing businesses, covering card expenses, reimbursements, receipts, approvals, and reconciliation. It checks expenses against company rules, routes approvals, and can flag or block spending under configured policies. AI extracts receipt details and matches receipts to transactions. Businesses can connect existing cards and, through eligible programs, issue virtual cards with spending limits, expiry dates, merchant controls, and category controls. Accounting connections include QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage Intacct, and Xero, with customizable exports for other accounting systems. The product also connects with Salesforce and Slack and syncs receipts from Amazon Business and Uber. Its iOS and Android apps support receipt capture, expense completion and submission, approvals, and card management. Basic costs $8 a month, billed per user/month, and includes ACH reimbursements up to 50. Plus costs $12 a month, billed per user/month, with unlimited ACH reimbursements. Custom pricing is on request. Companies based in the United States and Australia can use the product in English. Very small organizations may qualify for a 30-day free trial after completing an eligibility form. All plans include 24/7 online support access and the Emburse Help Center.
Ramp AP
Ramp AP handles invoice capture, approval routing, and vendor payments through an accounts payable workflow. Ramp says its OCR captures invoice details and line items with 99% accuracy. Bills can be routed to configured approvers, and administrators can control who views, approves, or pays them while maintaining separation of duty. Payment options include ACH, same-day ACH, card, check, domestic wire, and international wire. The free Bill Pay tier includes core features without a monthly software fee, but payment charges vary: standard ACH costs $0.59, checks $1.99, same-day ACH $10, domestic wires $15, and SWIFT USD wires $20. Ramp Plus is listed at $15 a month, plus a platform fee based on team size, and offers a free 30-day trial. Ramp AP can operate without Ramp corporate cards or expense management, and vendors need no Ramp account to receive payment. It connects with named accounting tools including QuickBooks Online, Xero, NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Acumatica, and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. Access is listed for web, Android, iOS, API, and extension; Ramp says it has no native Mac or Windows desktop app.
