Overview

EventPro brings venue calendars, space booking, proposals, contracts, catering and beverage management, staffing, CRM, attendee management, budgets, invoicing, reporting, and floor plans into a configurable system. That range can keep connected event workflows together for a venue or facility with multiple operational teams. It can also make the choice of modules and users consequential: pricing depends on modules, users, rooms, training, and organizational requirements.

EPConnect adds online bookings, event registrations, payments, and related management tools. Its payments module integrates with over 135 gateways, including PayPal, Square, Stripe, Authorize.net, and QuickBooks. An invoice export module supports QuickBooks, MYOB, Sage 50, Microsoft Dynamics GP, SAP, Adept, and Pastel, giving finance teams options for moving invoice data into accounting software.

Key features

Calendars, space booking, proposal building, and contract management support the path from checking availability to formalizing an event. Staff scheduling and resource management address the people and equipment side, while catering and beverage management, budgets, and invoicing extend the system into service delivery and administration. This is a practical combination for facilities that need those processes connected; a smaller operation with only basic booking needs may find the scope more than it requires.

Online payments and registration extend the workflow beyond internal planning. The gateway range offers flexibility for organizations with an established payment provider, while accounting exports help connect event billing to finance systems. The two-way API may support further integration, but it requires a third-party or custom-developed program to access and use; organizations should account for that dependency rather than assume the API is a ready-made connection.

Pricing

EventPro uses custom pricing, with cost shaped by modules, users, rooms, training, and organizational requirements. There are no fixed tiers or free plan to compare, so buyers should establish the needed configuration and training scope before evaluating the total fit. This approach may suit organizations that need a tailored package, but it offers less certainty for teams that need a clear per-user or per-location budget up front.

Platforms

EventPro is offered as on-premise software or as a cloud service. The on-premise edition is Windows-based and requires Windows 11 or newer and Microsoft .NET 4.7.2 or newer, making it a poor fit for organizations that cannot meet those requirements. EventPro Cloud works on Windows, Mac, Linux, iPad, iPhone, and Android devices with internet access, providing broader device choice when an online deployment suits the organization.

The cloud service uses a dedicated Microsoft Azure environment co-managed by Connectria, with separate databases for cloud clients. Profit Systems says it uses storage, encryption, and processing practices to protect personal information and is committed to applicable laws including PIPEDA and GDPR. In-house support is available by phone, fax, email, or online via GoToMeeting, with offices in North America, Australia, and the United Kingdom.

Who it's for

EventPro is aimed at event planners, venues, catering companies, conference managers, universities, government and community organizations, and other event facilities. It is most persuasive for organizations that need venue, catering, staffing, customer, and financial workflows in one configurable system. A small operator looking primarily for low-cost, uncomplicated booking should compare simpler plans before committing to a custom package.

Pros and cons

Broad operational coverage: booking, catering, staffing, attendee management, budgets, invoicing, and floor plans can serve teams coordinating several parts of event delivery.
Online booking and payment options: EPConnect and integrations with over 135 payment gateways support customer-facing booking and payment workflows.
Accounting exports: support for several accounting systems gives finance teams a route for carrying invoice data into their existing software.
Deployment trade-offs: cloud access spans major desktop and mobile platforms, while on-premise use requires Windows 11 or newer and .NET 4.7.2 or newer.
Integration and budget dependencies: API access requires a third-party or custom-developed program, and custom pricing depends on several organizational factors rather than a published fixed tier.

Alternatives

For venue operators wanting to compare purpose-built options, start with Event Venue Management Software.

Metro-Tec Rentals is worth considering when a free plan and mobile apps matter: its free option has no monthly software fee, though paid bookings incur a 4% service fee plus payment processing at cost.
Joinways may suit a single venue testing inquiry management without a subscription: its free plan allows one venue, two spaces, and 10 inquiries per month, with excess inquiries locked and no proposals or e-.
VenueSprocket offers a free web plan for operators whose needs fit up to 10 leads a month, with an inquiry form, dashboard, event calendar, customer records, and email notifications.
GridX Events is another free web option, with a Venue Base Plan covering leads, customers, quotations, packages, menus, bookings with payment schedules, and availability tools.
Velsa is a possible fit for organizations seeking a self-hosted free community edition; it is community-supported and has no SLA.
Perfect Venue is a paid alternative for teams preferring a published per-location rate: Professional with annual billing is $199.00 USD per month per location and includes more flexible payment options and multiple event policies.
Pxier Salon is aimed at salon operations rather than venue events; its paid Essentials plan starts at $10.00 USD per month per station, chair, with a $49 minimum.
VenueArc offers a free web Starter plan for up to one facility, including core booking, event scheduling, basic reporting, and email support.

Verdict

Choose EventPro if your venue or event organization needs a configurable system spanning bookings, catering, staffing, and administration, and its deployment requirements suit your operation. Its main advantage is bringing those connected workflows together with online booking and payment tools. Look elsewhere if you need transparent fixed pricing, a free entry plan, or an on-premise option outside the stated Windows requirements.
