In their own words
Everbridge Crisis Management
Everbridge Crisis Management coordinates crisis response through a command-and-control platform for unexpected scenarios. Integrated with Everbridge's High Velocity Critical Event Management platform, it supports business continuity, disaster recovery, situational awareness and emergency communication. Teams can mobilize response plans before, during and after a crisis, assigning tasks to individuals, groups or functions. Dedicated event dashboards and situation reports help senior management monitor response and recovery progress. Automated workflows can monitor threats and execute plans without team oversight. Everbridge says its risk intelligence draws on thousands of data sources and a team of more than 80 analysts. The platform supports escalation policies, post-incident reviews, audit logs, SMS, voice call, email, desktop and mobile app alerts, plus two-way messaging. Everbridge 360 apps are available for Windows and macOS desktops and Android and iOS devices. Support is available around the clock by phone, email and Support Center; cases submitted by email or portal are targeted for triage within four hours. Pricing is on request, and there is no free plan. The REST API is a premium feature unavailable with some bundles.
Grafana Cloud Application Observability
Grafana Cloud Application Observability monitors applications and brings OpenTelemetry and Prometheus data together to help software engineers investigate anomalies and their causes. Its knowledge graph discovers services and relationships from telemetry, while the service catalog displays latency, error ratio, and request rate for each service. The RCA workbench and Entity Graph help investigate correlated problems across a stack. Metrics, logs, traces, and profiles share a unified view, with drill-down from a service into its signals. Grafana identifies Alloy as a collector with native pipelines for OpenTelemetry and Prometheus. The free plan includes up to 2,232 host hours per month and community support. Pro is listed at $0.03 a month, with a $19 monthly platform fee and $0.025 per host hour; host hours and application telemetry are billed at standard Grafana Cloud rates. Serverless usage is billed on telemetry ingested instead of host hours. The cloud service runs on Linux, macOS, Windows, and the web.
