Overview

Scidoo brings guest profiles, communications, marketing, reviews and loyalty together for independent hotels, hotel groups, campsites and villages, B&Bs, and holiday homes. That scope favors hospitality teams looking to coordinate guest contact across a stay rather than adopt a general-purpose customer database. Its connection to Scidoo’s hotel PMS is a practical advantage for properties using that system; buyers relying on other systems should confirm that the relevant integrations meet their needs.

Key features

Profiles collect preferences, stay history, requests and contact channels, with segmentation to shape targeted outreach. Reservation synchronization and connected guest history can make those segments more useful to property teams, since communications can draw on the guest relationship rather than sit apart from bookings.

Communications bring together WhatsApp, email, OTA and social channels, as well as chatbot and SMS. Marketing flows extend from pre-stay offers and upsells to in-stay concierge messaging and post-stay questionnaires, reviews, loyalty and remarketing. This range suits operators seeking one coordinated guest journey; properties that only need a narrow messaging tool may find the breadth unnecessary.

Feedback features include multilingual questionnaires, alerts, statistics, sentiment and guided replies. These give teams ways to organize guest responses and review follow-up, especially when serving visitors in multiple languages. Loyalty programs add a post-stay relationship component alongside that feedback work.

Scidoo says its PMS and other modules keep guest history, quotes and reservations connected. Its partner ecosystem covers payment systems, reservation channels, cash registers, home automation, invoicing, access and hospitality services. Authorized third-party systems can read or manage data through an API, with access restricted by property permissions and approved functions. These connections make the product more relevant to properties already building around Scidoo, while prospective buyers should establish which partner connections and API permissions apply to their setup.

The management system is cloud based and described as accessible from desktop, tablet and smartphone. Scidoo also describes an ID Scan and Privacy module in its PMS materials for recording acknowledgment and guest signature for GDPR privacy information. The provider says it offers assistance seven days a week, staff training and support from programmers specializing in hospitality.

Pricing

The CRM is paid, with custom pricing requested through a demo. No public CRM price or trial duration is stated. That makes it difficult to compare its cost with a room-based subscription before speaking with Scidoo; buyers should weigh the quote against the channels, integrations and workflows their property expects to use. A demo request is the stated route to pricing.

Platforms

Scidoo CRM is listed for Android, iOS, Linux, macOS, web and Windows, with API access. Its cloud system is described as usable from desktop, tablet and smartphone, giving teams options across office and mobile work.

Who it's for

Independent hotels, hotel groups, campsites and villages, B&Bs and holiday homes are the stated audience. It is the strongest fit for hospitality operators that want guest data, communications, feedback and loyalty tied to stay history, particularly those using Scidoo’s PMS and modules. It is less straightforward for buyers who need a price to compare upfront or who want only a focused CRM function.

Pros and cons

Pros

Guest profiles, reservation sync and segmentation connect guest context with targeted outreach.
Communications and marketing span several channels and the pre-, during- and post-stay stages.
Multilingual questionnaires, review tools and loyalty features support follow-up after the stay.
API permissions and a broad partner ecosystem can accommodate connected hospitality operations.

Cons

Custom pricing requires a demo request before buyers can assess affordability.
The broad feature set may be more than a property needs if it only wants basic guest messaging.
The clearest connected workflow is with Scidoo’s own PMS, so properties using other systems should verify fit before committing.

Alternatives

Hospitality CRM Software is a useful place to compare category options. GraceSoft Hospitality CRM may suit a buyer who prioritizes a free Lite tier with front desk, booking engine and payment gateway functions, or wants a free trial. HMS Flow Guest CRM & Loyalty is a more concrete choice for small properties that want published annual, per-property pricing for its full platform, with tiers based on room count. PageCRM is worth considering when a freemium option and a defined small-team allowance for contacts and WhatsApp matter more than a hospitality-specific guest journey.

BookOne CRM is another hospitality-oriented option, with front-office, reservations and housekeeping among its stated functions. HoteSoft Guest CRM may appeal to smaller properties seeking a published starter tier capped by room and user counts. D-EDGE CRM is an alternative paid CRM. NISKA CRM is another paid option with a web platform and a published Essentials monthly price. dailypoint 360° may suit hotels seeking a hotel-focused CRM/CDP and loyalty platform, though its price is also available by demo request.

Verdict

Choose Scidoo CRM if your hotel or accommodation business wants guest records, multi-channel communications, marketing, feedback and loyalty connected across the stay, especially alongside Scidoo’s PMS. The main reason to look elsewhere is the lack of an upfront price: buyers who need to compare costs before a sales conversation should favor an option with a published tariff.
