In their own words

Expo Manager

Expo Manager combines ticket sales, exhibitor bookings, event operations, and lead retrieval for expos, trade shows, conferences, and career fairs. Organizers can sell tickets, exhibition slots, booth upgrades, and sponsorship packages through one checkout. They connect Stripe, Square, PayPal, or another gateway, with payments sent directly to their own account. The organizer sets the booking fee, and the platform’s 5% fee is deducted from that fee rather than ticket revenue. Sales can be made in attendees’ currencies across 33 countries. An interactive floorplan supports visual editing, live booth availability, booking, and attendee navigation through ExpoAssistant. Exhibitors can scan badges with a phone and export leads to CSV or a CRM; HubSpot and Salesforce are named options. Lead retrieval can be offered as a paid add-on. Role-based permissions cover event and exhibitor staff, including separate ticket and session scanning access. Expo Manager runs on Android, iOS, and web. Its free plan is listed at free, billed at $0 per month, with a 5% transaction fee.

Map D

Map D combines interactive floor plans, booth and sponsorship sales, exhibitor workflows, attendee tools, and reporting for events. Its map editor handles booth placement, numbering, and sizing, and maps can be embedded on event websites. Growth adds direct booth selection and purchasing from the floor plan, with orders and invoices recorded in the platform; Starter does not include online booth checkout. Plans range from a free floor plan for one event, which does not state publishing or booth sales, to per-event paid tiers: Starter is $1,500, paid once, Growth is $2,500, paid once, and Scale is $2,750, paid once. Map D describes connectors for Novi, MemberClicks, and Salesforce, website embeds for WordPress, HubSpot, and Wix, plus REST API and Zapier support. Named payment integrations include Stripe, Authorize.Net, and Square. Every plan includes onboarding, team training, and email and chat support; phone support and a customer success manager are optional add-ons. The web experience is responsive across devices, and a branded native iOS and Android event app is optional. Map D is based in Athens, Georgia, and was founded in 2011.
