In their own words
Fellow
Fellow is an AI meeting assistant that records and transcribes meetings, then creates a Meeting Recap with summaries, decisions and action items. It captures meetings through a bot, or its desktop and mobile apps can record audio directly without a bot joining. Supported settings include Google Meet, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Slack Huddles and in-person meetings. Ask Fellow searches transcripts, summaries and notes from past meetings to answer questions or surface decisions and tasks. The service lists transcription in 99 languages, while its AI Note Taker description specifies 93. It is available on Android, iOS, macOS, Windows and web, plus an extension and API. The Free plan includes five AI notes and five AI recordings per user for life, with a maximum of five seats. Paid plans start at $7/user/mo billed annually; a 14-day trial is listed, and the workspace moves to Free when the trial ends. Meeting data is not used to train Fellow or third-party AI models, including on Free.
MeetNotes
MeetNotes records meetings and turns them into speaker-labelled transcripts and minutes with summaries, decisions and action items. Users can record an in-person meeting with a phone, or have the notetaker join Zoom, Google Meet and Microsoft Teams through a meeting link or calendar invite. Its Mac and Windows apps capture computer playback and microphone audio for those services, plus Webex and WhatsApp calls. MeetNotes says it can produce minutes in any of 110 languages and transcribe conversations that switch languages mid-sentence. Minutes can be edited and shared as PDF or Word files, including by WhatsApp or email. Web access lets users read, search and export meetings. Teams share a pool of recording minutes, but a meeting remains private to its recorder unless shared. The free plan includes 100 minutes once. Minute packs are bought once and do not expire; the 30-minute pack is ₹99 a month. Audio and transcript content is sent to third-party AI providers solely to produce transcripts and minutes.
