In their own words
FieldEZ
FieldEZ is a unified operations platform for enterprise equipment and field operations, bringing sales, service, support, IT support, and assets onto a shared data model and asset record. It lists more than 175 capabilities, including lifecycle costing, reliability analysis, predictive maintenance, compliance records, and IoT connectivity. Open APIs and integrations connect with ERP, ITSM, and finance systems. FieldEZ serves industries including manufacturing, telecom, utilities, healthcare, retail, and oil and gas, and describes deployments for mid-market teams, enterprises, systems integrators, managed service providers, OEMs, and equipment distributors. Technicians can use the mobile app offline to execute jobs, complete checklists, and capture proof of service, then sync when connectivity returns. FieldEZ IQ has three cumulative plans: Essentials assists users, Pro predicts and recommends, and Ultimate can execute autonomously within configured confidence thresholds. The maker states that FieldEZ is ISO 27001 and SOC 2 certified, and offers role-based access and multi-geography deployment. It reports more than 50 million managed assets, 50,000 field technicians, and service in more than 10 countries. Platforms include Android, iOS, web, Windows, and API.
Method: Field Services
Method: Field Services helps service businesses manage customer requests, technician schedules, work orders and invoicing, with a two-way QuickBooks sync for estimates, invoices, payments and customer data. Its Work Orders app supports one-time and recurring jobs; the Field Crew app gives technicians a mobile view for calling customers, opening addresses in a map app, tracking time, collecting e-signatures, completing jobs and adding work order items. A Time Tracking app manages entries generated by Field Crew and syncs them with QuickBooks. Dispatchers can optimize routes by distance, travel time and highway preference, though routes do not account for live traffic, are limited to 30 work orders and cannot be planned on mobile. Other listed integrations include Gmail, Google Calendar, Mailchimp, Outlook, Zapier and an API. The service works in a mobile browser and has Android and iOS apps. Pricing lists Field Crew Technician at $18 / month and Dispatcher at $59 / month, both billed monthly. A free trial is offered without commitment or a credit card.
