In their own words
Film Logic
Film Logic is a browser-based workspace for film scheduling and production management, from screenplay preparation through shoot-day operations. Its tools include screenplay editing and import, script breakdown, stripboard scheduling, production reports, tracked call sheets, an assistant director dashboard, Crew Live, production chat, and an Asset Library. Screenplays can be imported as.fdx, PDF, or native.fls files, but schedules and call sheets cannot yet be imported from other tools. Projects export as.flc; screenplays as.fls or.fdx; call sheets as PDF; and contacts and schedules as CSV. Crew Live provides a secure link for crew to view the current scene, next up, announcements, and progress in a phone browser without logging in or installing an app. Film Logic lists Android, iOS, and web platforms, but no mobile app. The Individual Production monthly plan costs $19.99 per month and includes three active productions, unlimited projects, and unlimited collaborators. A one-time Script-only licence costs $24.99. A workspace administrator can use every feature with unlimited collaborators during a one-time 30-day trial without a credit card.
StudioBinder
StudioBinder is a web production-management platform for studios, production companies, brands, and marketing agencies. It covers work from scripting through production. Writing tools handle industry-format screenplays, two-column AV scripts, and documents. Teams can break down scripts, build shooting schedules, generate script sides, and produce production reports. Mood boards, shot lists, and storyboards support visual planning, while contacts, calendars, task boards, and a shared media library organize collaboration. Call sheets can be filled with weather, location, cast, and nearest-hospital details, then sent by email or text with delivery tracking. Listed integrations include Fountain, Google Maps, Final Draft, PDF, CSV, and Slack. Data and files are encrypted in transit and at rest and hosted in the US on AWS.
