In their own words

Financial Cents

Financial Cents is cloud-based practice management software for accounting, bookkeeping, and tax firms. It helps manage client work, staff collaboration, and deadlines through workflow management, client CRM, automatic reminders for client tasks, month-end close, e-signatures, time tracking, billing, invoicing, and AI features. Its client portal uses passwordless links, rotating encrypted passwords, and six-digit identity codes sent by email or SMS. The product states that document storage is unlimited and data is encrypted at rest and in transit; it also states that it is SOC II Type I certified by AICPA. Integrations include QuickBooks Online, email and file services, Zapier, Ignition, and tax applications including DrakeTax, UltraTax, Lacerte, ProSeries, ProConnect, TaxAct, and CCH Axcess. Scale includes an Open API, while Enterprise includes webhooks. A 14-day trial does not require a credit card. Solo costs $19 a month, billed annually, under a 12-month agreement for single-user firms. Firms with one to four users must pay annually; monthly billing is available only to firms with at least five users.
