In their own words
Fiserv Finxact
Fiserv Finxact is a cloud core-banking engine and system of record for transactions across asset classes, currencies, and time zones. Its event-driven microservice architecture processes in-balance transactions in real time, avoiding end-of-day and batch reconciliation. The platform can recreate as-of views of transactions, events, or occurrences without cutoffs or offline operations. RESTful APIs provide thousands of banking functions and full CRUDL access to customer and transaction data. Product owners and business analysts can define event rules with a TypeScript domain-specific language. Production deployments use Kubernetes on Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform clusters. Core payments include single-bank processing, basic ACH, checks, and debit cards; Payment Rails adds ACH, RTP, and wire capabilities. Finxact integrates with third-party fraud and AML tools, while RabbitMQ queues let external endpoints subscribe to process or database conditions. Developer resources include a sandbox, on-demand instances, documentation, API references, a learning academy, and configuration wizards. It serves financial institutions, fintechs, commerce brands embedding finance, and community institutions. Pricing is consumption-based and available on request.

SBS lists more than 250 modules and more than 250 REST APIs, plus pre-integrated partner solutions. Deployment can use public or private cloud, SaaS, hybrid, or on-premise environments. The platform includes fraud monitoring, AML, KYC, risk tools, security standards, payment interoperability, and local compliance capabilities.
