In their own words

Flex

Flex brings rental inventory, sales, production operations, warehouse workflows, crew scheduling, billing, and payments into one platform. A signed quote reserves equipment for its date range and can lead to a warehouse pick list, barcode or RFID scans, and a truck manifest. Flex can generate invoices automatically and accept credit card or ACH payments. It includes quote building, rental contracts, delivery scheduling, and return tracking, but not online booking. The integration list includes QuickBooks, PayEngine, DocuSign, HubSpot, Salesforce, Pro Subrental Marketplace, CrewDriver, Google Calendar, Zapier, and a REST API; its HubSpot CRM integration is in open beta. Flex runs in supported browsers on Windows, Mac, and Linux, with Google Chrome recommended, and the Flex5 app is available for Apple and Android devices. The Flex plan costs $510 a month and includes unlimited users. There is no free plan, but a 30-day trial is available. Flex says it is suited to businesses with 500 or more assets, multiple jobs, or multi-user and multi-location operations.

Customers can sign rental agreements electronically, submit ID verification and receive return receipts. Payments run through KeyTransact, which the feature page describes as PCI DSS compliant, with tokenized card data and payouts to the operator’s bank. Integration options include a REST Booking API, embeddable booking widget, WordPress plugin and Webflow support. The developer page gives a limit of 600 requests per minute per API key. KeysBlu says every plan includes full CSV export from day one. Plans start at $199 per month; each has a seven-day trial without a credit card, and subscriptions can be cancelled anytime.
