In their own words

Float

Float is resource planning software that shows who is working on what, team availability, utilization, delivery, and project margins. Scheduling displays roles and experience for capacity planning, while project planning supports prices, budgets, roles, timeline baselines, and AI-assisted staffing. Reports cover capacity, utilization, actuals, margin, and budget burn. The API works with team data and project workflows, and listed integrations include Aprimo, Asana, Basecamp, Claude via Float MCP beta, ClickUp, Google Calendar, HubSpot, Jira, and Karbon. Calendar sync and recurring tasks are supported, with calendar listed as a task view. iOS and Android apps let staff check schedules, add time off, and log hours. Starter costs $7 a month per scheduled person and includes scheduling, capacity and time-off management, project scoping, API, and integrations access. Pro costs $12 a month per scheduled person and adds time tracking, AI people experience profiles, multi-currency rate cards, cost estimation, advanced reporting, SSO, and domain restrictions. A 30-day Pro trial requires no credit card.
