In their own words
FMX
FMX is a cloud-based computerized maintenance management system for facilities leaders. It supports facilities and maintenance management, work orders, preventive maintenance, equipment and spare-parts inventory, facility scheduling, fleet management, capital planning, and IT management. Teams can track technician time and use native mobile access. A REST API is available to help keep data consistent across an organization’s software, and listed integrations include Google Admin Console, Microsoft Intune, Jamf, Okta Provisioning, Slack, Stripe, Twilio, and building automation systems. FMX supports single sign-on with SAML 2.0 identity providers, Google Workspace, and Microsoft Active Directory options. It is available on Android, iOS, and the web, and pricing is on request. The 14-day trial is configured with selected features and requires no credit card, download, or installation; a product expert is available during the trial. When it ends, access stops unless the organization buys a subscription. Standard contracts renew annually and include a one-time implementation fee.
openMAINT
openMAINT is a web-based CMMS for managing buildings, sites, plants, technical devices, mobile assets and related logistics, economic and maintenance activities. Its Facility Management functions cover preventive and corrective maintenance for sites and registered assets. Users can configure data schemes, object types, attributes, workflows, reports, filters and views. The software supports web service interoperability, external-system connectors, CSV import and export, and CMIS-compatible document management. It runs on a web server and is accessed through a browser; stated server platforms include Linux, OSX and Windows. Requirements include PostgreSQL 17.x, Apache Tomcat 10 and Java 17; PostGIS and Docker are optional. The AGPL license permits use, distribution and editing. A free Self-Service plan is available, while annual subscriptions include support and mobile access.
