In their own words
Futureproof
Futureproof describes itself as an AI finance team for ecommerce brands and early-stage software companies, built around its own general ledger. Six agents cover bookkeeping, receivables, payables, cash forecasting, revenue and margin analysis, and investor reporting. The bookkeeping agent posts transactions, reconciles bank, card, and payout activity, and closes books daily. Agents propose actions, but customer approval is required before money moves or the books change. Listed integrations include Amazon, eBay, Shopify, TikTok Shop, Stripe, Meta Ads, Google Ads, Ramp, and Brex. Amazon and eBay connect directly, Shopify is in beta, and TikTok Shop is coming soon. Bank and card feeds connect read-only through Plaid; Ramp and Brex connect directly. Books and reports can be exported in CSV, XLS, or PDF. QuickBooks history can be migrated in one click, while other systems can be brought in by file export. Every plan includes a monthly review with a human financial specialist. The standard plan costs $1,000 a month, billed monthly in advance. A 14-day trial is listed, and the platform runs on web.
Predict.ai
Predict.ai finds possible drivers of business outcomes, compares forecasting models against historical data, and updates deployed forecasts as incoming data changes. Users select an outcome and forecast horizon; the platform searches for drivers, backtests models, deploys a result, and reevaluates it over time. Its workspace surfaces trends, anomalies, recurring patterns, correlations, lead-lag relationships, and leading indicators. Scenario tools let users alter a driver or schedule an event to compare a forecast with its baseline, but this does not establish causation. Data inputs include uploads, REST, Kafka, S3, BigQuery, PostgreSQL, and webhooks. Forecasts can be served through hosted REST, streaming, or batch inference endpoints, with quantile bands in responses. The maker also lists a REST API, Python and TypeScript SDKs, WebSockets, and MCP support for AI agents. The Free plan costs nothing and is capped at 500 credits monthly. Starter costs $149 a month, and Team costs $2,499 a month. Predict.ai says workspace data is isolated and not used to train shared or other customers' models.
