In their own words
GateWatch
GateWatch is software for managing visitor access, security activity, and resident records in guard-gated communities. Residents can issue guests digital passes or QR codes for gate checks, as well as one-time, recurring, scheduled, or group digital keys with expiry times. Visitor entries are logged, and residents can review guest history. Security teams and property managers can record incidents and violations, attach details, monitor compliance, and retain histories tied to residents, visitors, or units. Records can cover residents, units, vehicles, guests, and vendors. The service also supports announcements and visitor alerts by SMS, email, or push notification, plus events, surveys, community messages, and rewards redeemable at local businesses. GateWatch is designed to work with staffed gates, call boxes, and hybrid setups without replacing gate hardware. Community Tech says it uses encrypted communication, role-based permissions, and secure cloud infrastructure. Its privacy policy says customer organizations control personal information processed on their behalf. GateWatch runs on Android, iOS, and web; pricing is on request.
HOACart.AI
HOACart.AI is web-based property management software for HOAs, condos, co-ops, apartments, and landlords. It covers finances, resident payments, maintenance, violations, and community engagement. Two-way QuickBooks Online sync moves payments, charges, and resident records between the services. Residents can pay dues or rent through Stripe by ACH or credit and debit card. Property workflows include violation escalation, maintenance work orders with vendor assignment, and architectural review requests. Financial tools include operating and reserve fund accounting, annual budgets, resident ledgers, and reserve study projections. Community features include announcements, resident directories with privacy controls, polls, and voting. The service lists Admin, Board, Manager, and Resident roles, permission-based access, audit logging, and session timeouts. HOACart.AI says data is encrypted at rest with AES-256 and in transit with TLS 1.3; Stripe handles payment data, and card numbers are not stored on its servers. It says the service is hosted on AWS with multi-region redundancy and a 99.9% uptime SLA. HOA and apartment plans have different unit or resident limits and storage allowances.
