In their own words
Getscreen.me
Getscreen.me provides browser-based remote access for system administration, technical support, screen sharing, and other remote work. It supports permanent access as well as one-time quick-support connections, and lists Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, and web browser support. Its control panel includes screen control, file management, terminal sessions, session recording, and connection history. A browser can also be used to control Android smartphones, tablets, and digital displays. Listed integrations include an HTTP API, iFrame embedding, SAML/SSO, Active Directory synchronization, and a Chrome extension; the extension page names helpdesk integrations such as Zendesk, ServiceNow, Freshchat, Tawk.to, and Jivo. Security controls include two-factor authentication through email, Telegram, or Google Authenticator, IP whitelisting, and single sign-on. The maker says video and executable command data are encrypted with 128-bit AES within WebRTC and SSL protocols by default. Self-hosting keeps data within the customer’s environment. The free plan is free, with up to two permanent devices, one technician seat, and file transfers up to 50 MB per file.
SimpleHelp
SimpleHelp combines remote support, unattended access, monitoring, automation and security for businesses and IT teams managing users and networks. Technicians can begin on-demand support sessions without installing software first on a user’s device, and WebTech lets them manage a queue and start sessions in a browser. Remote-control sessions include file transfer, resource monitoring, command-line access and clipboard management. Device monitoring provides real-time status, custom alerts and actions across managed devices. Customers can deploy a self-hosted server on-premises, on their own infrastructure or in the cloud. Authentication can connect with Active Directory, Entra ID, OpenID, LDAP or RADIUS; the Web API exposes session and server data for integration. SimpleHelp lists end-to-end encryption and controls including IP restrictions, technician authorization, multi-factor authentication, granular permissions and audits. Licensing is based on concurrently active sessions rather than technician accounts or devices. There is no free plan; the pricing note lists a 30-day trial and a starting price from $270. Standard and Business licences include one year of updates and email support.
