Glue

Glue is a virtual collaboration platform for remote meetings, workshops, training, and custom virtual experiences. Teams can use customizable avatars, spatial audio, and virtual spaces, alongside sticky notes, whiteboards, presentations, brainstorming, co-creation, annotations, and note-taking. Imported 3D models can be brought in through the web interface. Team spaces and their content remain available after meetings, allowing teams to return to work and add annotations. Cloud storage holds presentations, images, videos, and 3D models. Teams can brand spaces and configure venues for meetings, training, presentations, situation rooms, and product showcases. Slack and Trello are named as integration examples. Glue lists Android, iOS, macOS, web, and Windows platforms, with downloads also listed for Meta Quest, Pico, HTC Vive Focus 3, Windows desktop and VR, and Mac desktop. The Free plan includes 10 team members, 10 team spaces, sessions up to 30 minutes, and 2GB of team file storage. Professional costs €50 per user per month when billed yearly or €60 per user per month when billed monthly. Glue was founded in 2017 in Helsinki and was acquired by Hyperspace in May 2024.

The Sandbox Game Maker

The Sandbox Game Maker is a free drag-and-drop program for creating games and interactive experiences without coding. Creators can start with templates, blocks, and free basic assets from its library, or use assets made with VoxEdit. Quests, rules, object behaviors, and components can be configured to shape gameplay, and an NFT Sensor can use NFT ownership in game logic. The program includes 3D game support, animation tools, texture painting, and game engine export; code integration is listed as none. Creators can build and test projects, then share them for free in the community Gallery. Publishing an experience to virtual LAND and monetizing it requires owning LAND. Game Maker is part of The Sandbox creator ecosystem, alongside VoxEdit, the Marketplace, Game Client, Workspaces, and Experience Hub. It runs on Windows and macOS and is free for personal, educational, and commercial projects. Support is available through community discussions on Discord and technical support channels.
