Plaid bank sync imports transactions for categorization and reconciliation; expense tools cover vendor bills, approvals, accounts-payable aging, corporate card activity, and 1099 vendor information. Reports include GAAP-compliant balance sheets, statements of activities, and cash flow statements, with drill-down to journal entries and transactions. Giving features import donations and include donor matching, giving analytics, and annual statements with IRS-compliant disclosures. Listed integrations include Planning Center, Ramp, Bill.com / Divvy, Pushpay, OnlineGiving.org, Rock RMS, and Subsplash; Tithely is marked coming soon. The free Starter plan allows up to $20k in monthly expenses, one bank connection, three users, and one active budget. Growth costs $70 a month. Optional Grain Payroll costs $50 a month base plus 10 USD per employee / month.
One Church Software
One Church Software’s accounting module provides fund accounting for churches, tracking unlimited restricted and unrestricted funds with real-time balances. Contribution batches post to the general ledger, while Plaid connections import bank transactions multiple times per day. The module handles bills, recurring payables, bulk payments, payment history, and check printing. Churches can make annual budgets by fund and compare them with actual income and expenses. Reports include a Statement of Activities, Balance Sheet, Trial Balance, Budget to Actual, and General Ledger, exportable as PDF or CSV. Accounts receivable invoices can be paid by credit or debit card or ACH through One Church Giving. The accounting module is a separate add-on to a One Church subscription, though the Financial Plan includes it. The add-on costs $36 a month, and the page offers a 30-day trial without a credit card. The accounting page says bank connections are read-only, credentials are not shared with One Church Software, and data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
