In their own words
GreenRoad
GreenRoad is a fleet telematics and driver-coaching platform that gives drivers feedback during trips and managers visibility into safety performance. GreenRoad Drive uses voice and visual prompts, tracking risky braking, acceleration, cornering, speeding, and lane handling. It produces driver safety scores and team leaderboards. Managers can view fleets live, review location history, and examine previous trips and incidents. Location-based alerts include configurable speeding warnings and notices for high-risk areas. GreenRoad Central adds AI-powered safety insights, real-time alerts, live tracking, analytics, and pre-built reports through a browser or the Drive app. An open API can combine existing telematics, sensors, and third-party data platforms in one fleet view. Drive runs on Android and iPhone and can operate alongside apps such as Waze. Digital Edge uses smartphones or tablets already in vehicles and is described as requiring no hardware installation or vehicle downtime. GreenRoad lists solutions for passenger transport, oil and gas, mining, utilities, services, food and beverage, construction, and delivery fleets. Pricing is available on request. Support is handled through GreenRoad Central for managers or local managers and champions for drivers.
Nexar Fleets
Nexar Fleets is a web-based dash cam and video-telematics system for commercial fleets. Connected cameras work with a dashboard for live vehicle tracking, a fleet map, geofence and incident alerts, and video on demand. Listed cameras include Nexar Beam 2, Beam 2 mini, and Nexar One, with resolutions from 1080p to 4K and built-in LTE. Cameras can back up footage to the cloud when they detect a collision or incident. Managers can request clips from a point on a route, but the footage must still be stored on the camera, which holds 5–40 hours depending on memory size. The dashboard provides driving-behavior insights, including detection of harsh braking, collisions, and distracted driving. Up to three emergency contacts can receive collision email notifications. There is no mobile app, though the dashboard is accessible through a phone browser. Enterprise APIs connect fleet data, incidents, and video to internal systems. Each camera needs continuous power through an OBD or hardwiring kit. The first-month-free pilot allows up to two opened cameras to be returned; subscriptions are $14.99–$24.99 per vehicle per month, depending on configuration, volume, and availability.
