In their own words
GTmetrix
GTmetrix tests website performance and explains causes of slow pages and possible optimizations. Reports combine Lighthouse-based performance and structure scores, Web Vitals, and impact-ranked audits. Tests run in a real Chrome browser, while waterfall charts show each request’s timing, status, response size, and headers. Chrome UX Report data supplies field measurements such as INP when a site has sufficient Chrome traffic. Testing covers 28 global locations and simulations of more than 55 mobile and tablet devices. Monitored pages can run hourly, daily, weekly, or monthly, with historical graphs and alerts. GTmetrix provides a REST API and MCP server and names Claude, Cursor, GitHub Copilot CLI, ChatGPT, and Lovable as compatible AI coding tools. The free plan requires no card. Paid plans start at $4.99 a month billed yearly; API requests use credits.
