In their own words
Happy Returns
Happy Returns provides returns software and reverse logistics for ecommerce merchants. Its branded portal lets shoppers choose exchanges, store credit, refunds to the original payment method, and eligible return methods such as in-store drop-off, Return Bar or mail. Exchange suggestions can use return reasons and available inventory. One-click exchanges, store-credit incentives and Return Shopping support additional purchases during a return; Return Shopping is free for Shopify merchants. The Return Bar network offers box-free, label-free drop-offs at nearly 10,000 U.S. locations, including more than 5,000 The UPS Store locations. Happy Returns says items are scanned and verified at drop-off, assessed with AI risk scoring and audited when flagged. Approved refunds and exchanges can start at drop-off, while high-risk refunds may wait. Returns are consolidated at regional hubs before bulk shipment to retailers. Connections include AfterShip, Loop, parcelLab, a headless API and TikTok Shop. Pricing is available on request.
Loop Returns
Loop Returns is a self-service portal for automating ecommerce returns, from applying a brand’s policies through resolving a return. Shipping options include global carrier integrations, point-of-sale drop-off, and box-free returns through partners such as Happy Returns. Loop lists integrations with 120+ Shopify apps, including Klaviyo, Gorgias, and Attentive, and provides API and webhook connections for return data in third-party systems. The service supports web and API use. A free Checkout+ plan is listed; Essential starts at $155 a month, and Advanced at $340 a month. Loop describes itself as SOC 2 certified, says stored data is encrypted at rest with AES-256, and says its practices adhere to regulations including GDPR and CCPA. It advertises 24/5 support, an average response time under two hours, and a 99.9% uptime guarantee.
