Workbench

Workbench is a free, browser-based suite for Salesforce administrators and developers working with Salesforce organizations through Force.com APIs. It supports the Partner, Bulk, REST, Streaming, Metadata and Apex APIs. In a browser, users can describe, query, manipulate and migrate Salesforce data and metadata, with field mapping and relationship migration listed. Troubleshooting tools include customizable SOAP headers, API traffic debug logs, compatibility testing with earlier API versions and Salesforce single sign-on integration. Connections use Salesforce OAuth login or a session ID. Workbench runs on the web, Linux, macOS and Windows, and can be self-hosted. Documentation describes configurable CSRF protection, end-to-end SSL requirements and organization allowlists or blocklists for self-hosted instances. The project is distributed under the Open Source BSD License. It is in maintenance-only mode, has not completed full quality assurance testing, is supplied as-is and should not be used with production data. Browser and connection timeouts make large loads, exports, scripting and other intensive work unsuitable.
