Veridia
Veridia is a web-based employee onboarding platform for employers handling Form I-9, E-Verify, Form W-4, and company documents. New hires receive a personal link by text or email and complete a guided, mobile-first process without installing an app or using a laptop. The service checks government identity documents against a live selfie using liveness detection; Veridia says it authenticates more than 2,500 document types from more than 140 countries. The onboarding experience is available in English and Spanish. Employers can complete I-9 Section 2 remotely through self-service, in person, or by live video under the DHS alternative procedure for E-Verify employers. E-Verify cases are generated from I-9 information, with status tracking and next steps. Records include timestamped audit histories, exportable reports, automatic reverification reminders, and policy-driven retention.
