Overview

Hiriso combines live interview guidance with candidate and job management for recruiting teams that want both in one product. Its strongest case is helping interviewers structure conversations without turning AI signals into hiring decisions; the trade-offs are tight monthly interview quotas on lower plans and customer responsibility for consent.

For teams seeking a standalone applicant-tracking system or broad interview volume at a fixed price, Hiriso may be a less natural fit.

Key features

In live interviews, Hiriso transcribes speech, identifies questions, scores competencies, and proposes follow-up questions. That combination can give interviewers prompts and a more consistent evaluation structure, while leaving judgment with the human interviewer. It also flags answers that appear to be read from an AI tool; treating the signal as a reason to ask a follow-up, rather than as proof of misconduct or grounds for rejection, is the right boundary for this feature.

Live transcription supports 50+ languages and can accommodate candidates switching languages mid-answer. That is a meaningful advantage for multilingual interviews. Hiriso also offers automated scorecards and interviewer coaching, extending its focus from capturing a conversation to supporting evaluation.

Candidate profiles, resume parsing, customizable Kanban pipeline stages, and job-candidate fit scores provide a recruiting workflow around the interview. Google Calendar, Microsoft Outlook, and Zoho Recruit integrations cover calendar coordination and a named recruiting system; REST API keys allow external integrations. These tools make Hiriso more compelling for teams wanting interview intelligence with workflow management than for buyers looking only for transcription.

Pricing

The Free plan costs 0.00 USD per free, billed Forever free. It includes 3 AI-powered interviews per month, 1 user, unlimited candidates, and unlimited job openings. It is useful for an individual evaluating the workflow or handling only a few interviews, but the three-interview cap will quickly constrain active hiring.

Hiriso Pro costs 39.00 USD per month, billed Free Early Access. It includes 20 AI-powered interviews per month and 1–50 team seats, with unlimited candidates and job openings. Additional interviews cost $3 each. The larger quota and team access make Pro the practical choice for a small recruiting team, though the per-month allowance still requires planning when interview volume varies.

Custom pricing is available on flexible terms and includes a custom AI-powered interview limit, unlimited seats, dedicated support, an SLA, and custom integrations. It suits organizations that need higher or tailored capacity and service commitments. A free trial is also offered.

Platforms

Hiriso supports web, macOS, Windows, and iOS, giving teams desktop and mobile access across common operating systems.

Who it's for

Hiriso is best suited to recruiting teams that want live interviewer prompts, structured competency scoring, and candidate-pipeline tools in the same product. Its multilingual transcription may also suit teams interviewing candidates who move between languages. It is less suited to teams whose interview volume exceeds the monthly allowance or that need consent obligations handled for them.

Pros and cons

Pros: Live transcription, question detection, competency scoring, and suggested follow-ups support a more structured interview.
Pros: The AI-use flag prompts clarification rather than automatic rejection, keeping the signal from becoming a hiring decision by itself.
Pros: Multilingual transcription, candidate profiles, pipeline stages, and fit scores connect interview support with recruiting workflow.
Pros: Hiriso says interview data is not used to train public or shared AI models; tenant isolation, redaction of names and contact details before external AI processing, and configurable retention provide meaningful data controls. Optional resume parsing is an exception for initial extraction.
Pros: Encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access, secure session management, audit logging, and optional hardware security keys or biometric authentication add security measures beyond interview scoring.
Cons: Three interviews per month on Free and 20 on Pro can limit teams with heavier hiring needs; Pro charges $3 for each additional interview.
Cons: Customers must notify participants and obtain any required recording and AI-analysis consent, adding process work for recruiting teams.

Alternatives

Choose Hyring if its free plan's 50 monthly credits, one seat, one active job post, English-only support, and one AI voice better match a tightly scoped workflow; its Pro plan is 79.00 USD per month and includes 50 credits per month and 5 seats.

Metaview is another freemium option, with Pro at 100.00 USD per month billed monthly per user, including 200 profiles sourced per month and infinite concurrent searches; consider it when sourcing capacity is the priority.

Consider ASTRNT for a free plan with 5 candidate responses per month, unlimited users, and unlimited jobs, or when its applicant-credit purchasing model suits better.

For technical screening, HackerRank offers a Starter plan at 165.00 USD per month, billed $1,990 annually, with one user, Screen + Interview, more than 2,000 questions, and 120 attempts per year.

Willo is a paid alternative for one-way video interviewing, with its Lite plan at 49.00 GBP per month per live role and up to five live roles and 150 assessed candidates per month.

Jobma is another paid interview platform, with Starter including one user, five active positions, unlimited one-way interviews, and one ATS integration.

Talview offers tailored, unit-based pricing, with a typical minimum commitment of approximately 150 to 200 candidates; it may suit buyers who prefer to select individual features or bundles.

Verdict

Choose Hiriso if your recruiting team wants interviewer guidance, competency scoring, and pipeline management together, especially for multilingual conversations. Its data controls and human-centered use of AI signals strengthen the case. Look elsewhere if you need generous predictable interview volume at lower tiers or want the vendor to take responsibility for participant consent.
