In their own words

HOS247 ELD

HOS247 ELD combines an electronic logging device with a logbook system for tracking hours of service, driver behavior, and vehicle performance. Its fleet manager portal supports viewing and editing driver logs and vehicle inspections. GPS tracking provides live location data and location history, while diagnostics detect fault codes and send real-time notifications. The device connects to standard 6-pin, 9-pin, or OBDII ports and pairs with Android or iOS phones and tablets through Bluetooth or USB. It supports roadside inspection transfers through web services and email. HOS247 says it is an FMCSA-certified ELD vendor compliant with 49 CFR Parts 385, 386, 390, and 395. The service runs on Android, iOS, and web, and is offered with a 14-day trial. Plans are billed per vehicle: ELD Compliance costs $19 a month, ELD Track $22 a month, ELD Plus $25 a month, ELD TeleTrack $35 a month, and ELD TeleTrack CARB $40 a month. Drivers can edit logs only from the preceding two weeks. The ELD Track listing says a smartphone or tablet is not included.

TruckingOffice

TruckingOffice provides TMS and ELD software for owner-operators and fleet builders, with web, Android, and iOS access. The TMS tracks dispatch details and invoices, including payment status and overdue invoices. Its IFTA reporting tracks miles and fuel gallons by state, calculating mileage automatically with PC*Miler. Pro plans add load planning, LTL dispatch, factoring and remit-to support, and driver settlement management. The ELD app supports driver logs, duty-status changes, daily log certification, and roadside inspection reports; its vehicle interface device reads the truck’s ECM and connects to a phone or tablet by Bluetooth. TMS plans range from $25 a month for Basic Owner/Operator to $130 a month for Pro Fleet, with truck counts and workflows varying by plan. ELD options include $23 a month or $240 a year. A 30-day trial is offered. The TMS page states there are no additional-user fees or contracts and that customers can cancel at any time. Free support is advertised.
