In their own words
Hubdoc
Hubdoc collects bills, receipts and statements, extracts key information, and organizes the documents in cloud storage. Users can add paperwork by photographing it in the mobile app, forwarding email, or scanning and uploading files. Extraction from receipts, invoices and bills is intended to reduce manual data entry, while Supplier Rules automate document coding. Hubdoc sorts documents into searchable, customizable folders and supports searches for matching keywords or phrases. It can publish documents and their data to Xero, QuickBooks Online and Bill.com, and create document copies in Box. The service is available on web, Android and iOS. Hubdoc says it helps accountants and bookkeepers save time and scale their practices, and helps small and medium businesses manage paperwork. It is included as a service in scope of Xero’s SOC 2 Type II report; Xero states that it is ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certified and has annual independent audits. Support is available through Xero Central, with a separate support option for people without a Xero login. The Hubdoc plan costs $12 a month, with unlimited usage and multiple collaborators, after a 30-day free trial. The trial requires no credit card.
