Teramind Data Loss Prevention
Teramind Data Loss Prevention is an organizational platform combining activity monitoring and behavior analytics with data discovery, classification, and content-based rules for insider risk and data leakage. Its endpoint agent scans data in motion in real time rather than performing traditional data-at-rest scanning. Built-in definitions cover PII, PHI, financial information, and code snippets; custom definitions can use keywords, dictionary lists, and regular expressions. Listed DLP controls include sensitive-content detection and redaction, malicious-activity blocking, data-protection rules, and automatic blocking. The hybrid deployment offers API, Linux, macOS, self-hosted, web, and Windows platforms. Endpoint and cloud-app controls, removable-media control, data discovery, and incident workflows are included, while network controls are not. Windows 10 and newer are supported, along with specified newer macOS and Linux versions; Mac and Linux functionality is limited. Integrations include Microsoft Purview and named SIEMs. Pricing is on request, with no free plan, a free trial, and a five-seat minimum for Starter, UAM, and DLP subscriptions.
