In their own words
impactID
impactID combines fundraising, project management, and field data collection for nonprofit organisations, from small foundations to international NGOs. FundWise provides branded campaign pages, donation forms, and personalized donor updates. Its forms connect with Mollie and a CRM, and can be embedded in WordPress or other websites; impactID also says Zapier offers more than 7,000 integrations. ProjectConnect manages funding, contracts, partner collaboration, and reporting, including Theory of Change and IATI support. FieldCollab is a mobile reporting app that collects data offline and syncs it when connectivity returns. The service runs on Android, iOS, and the web. impactID describes security measures including encryption, permissions, activity logs, audits, monitoring, and encrypted backups, and says it complies with GDPR. Start is hosted in Dutch and German data centres. Start costs €9 per month after the first free month, excluding VAT, with monthly cancellation and no minimum term. It includes one web user and three field users; donations incur an 8.25% platform fee plus payment provider costs.
Microsoft Outcome Management
Microsoft Outcome Management is a free, open-source template app for nonprofits, built on Microsoft Power Platform. It helps teams set program goals and indicators, measure results, and aggregate impact across programs, projects, and activities. Users can maintain individual and organizational constituent records, including participants and stakeholders, with demographic, relationship, contact, and communication-preference details. The app follows work from strategic objectives through stakeholder measurement and supports outputs, outcomes, results, and indicator values recorded as baseline, actual, or target measurements over time. Its foundation is the open-source Common Data Model for Nonprofits, intended to support interoperability and data transparency. The maker describes connections with other applications through Power Platform data flow. Deployment requires installing that data model first, then building and importing the solution into Dataverse with .NET and Power Platform CLI. The listed build requirements include .NET SDK 4.6.2 or later, current .NET and Power Platform CLI, Node.js 18.18.0 or later, and suitable Dataverse permissions. Platforms are web and API.
