In their own words
Inspect2GO
Inspect2GO provides environmental health and code enforcement software tailored to local agencies. Its environmental health platform manages food safety, pools, housing, complaints, permits, payments, and inspections. Government inspection systems are used by city, county, and state agencies, including public health, environmental health, building, engineering, and housing departments. Mobile apps for iOS, Microsoft Surface Pro, and Android tablets can work offline and sync with web and cloud inspection management software. Mobile inspection tools include electronic signatures, photos, violation history, automated scoring, autofill, code references, and re-inspection scheduling. The default is 10 photos per inspection, upgradeable to 1,000. The web system includes reports, facility and permit management, inspector scheduling, GIS maps, accounting, and analytics. Agencies can choose Inspect2GO cloud hosting or use their own Microsoft SQL server or agency servers. Modules describe API integration with accounting, GIS, CRM, and ERP systems. The company says security options are available for HIPAA and customer-requested requirements. Pricing is on request, and prospective customers can request a demo or contact the company.
Safesite
Safesite is a digital safety management platform for recording workplace safety actions and managing safety programs. Teams can schedule and track inspections, create safety tasks, raise hazards, and use or customize compliance checklists. It also supports meetings, observations, equipment inspections, and incident reports; reports can notify stakeholders and be added to an OSHA log. Its dashboard presents leading-indicator analytics, a Safesite Score, and compliance reporting. Safesite says core features work offline and saved work syncs when connectivity returns. The app supports English, Spanish, French, and Portuguese on Android, iOS, and the web. Before mobile users can join an organization’s projects, an administrator must create its account through the desktop portal. New users outside the US, Canada, Brazil, and Mexico cannot download the app from app stores; Safesite recommends its browser interface instead. The free plan is free and limits reporting to the last 30 days. Premium costs $16 a month per member, with a 20% annual billing discount.
