In their own words
Iterable
Iterable is an AI customer engagement platform from the San Francisco company founded in 2013. It combines behavioral, product, and engagement data to support personalized communication across email, embedded messages, in-app messages, push notifications, RCS, SMS, web push notifications, and WhatsApp. Its audience tools can segment customers, build automated journeys, and measure results in one platform. Real-time AI decisioning uses behavior, context, and performance signals to adjust messages over time. Iterable includes email automation, customer journeys, lead scoring, lead capture forms, and multiple CRM integrations. Named connections include Segment, Mixpanel, Google Analytics, Salesforce, Meta Ads Manager, and Movable Ink. A public API uses project-specific keys, while system and journey webhooks send data to external systems. The platform is offered for enterprise-scale organizations in areas such as fintech, retail, marketplaces, publishing, sports entertainment, and media streaming. Pricing is on request. Platforms are Android, iOS, web, and API.
Userpilot
Userpilot is a product growth platform for non-technical teams to create in-app experiences, understand user behavior, and take action without writing code. Its no-code tools include product tours, checklists, tooltips, and modals. Teams can analyze funnels, feature adoption, and cohorts without SQL, and trigger NPS, CES, CSAT, or custom surveys based on user behavior. Session replay shows clicks and scrolls, with filters by segment or funnel step. AI Agent Lia can answer product-data questions, analyze feedback, and build guides from prompts. Web installation is available through JavaScript, Segment, or Google Tag Manager; the Mobile SDK supports native iOS and Android engagement and several cross-platform frameworks. Integrations include HubSpot, Salesforce, Zendesk, Google Analytics, Intercom, Amplitude, Mixpanel, Heap, webhooks, and HTTP APIs. Userpilot lists SOC 2 Type II certification and support for GDPR and HIPAA compliance. There is no free plan. Starter costs $299 a month; Growth costs $849 a month, and a 14-day trial is listed.
