Jackpoll
Jackpoll is an open-source survey and quiz builder for collecting responses, running live polls, and hosting presenter-led quiz games. Its 15 question types include short answers, multiple choice, checkboxes, grids, file uploads, sliders, rankings, signatures, and word clouds. Forms can span multiple pages and use drag-and-drop editing and conditional logic; collaborators can edit together with editor and viewer roles. Quiz sessions can be auto-graded, while live games let participants join by PIN or QR, use phones as buzzers, earn speed bonuses, and follow a leaderboard and podium. Responses appear in real time and can be exported to CSV, Excel, or per-response PDF. Webhooks can POST each response to an endpoint, and email notifications can arrive immediately or as a daily digest. Privacy features include consent notices, retention controls, export, and erasure. The maker describes the product as GDPR-compliant and EU-hosted. Respondents do not need accounts, but survey management requires an account or self-hosting. Hosted and self-hosted options are free; the frontend, API, and deployment stacks use the MIT licence.
