In their own words
OpenText Universal Discovery and CMDB
OpenText Universal Discovery and CMDB discovers, maps, and manages configuration items across hybrid, network, and multicloud environments. It combines agent-based, agentless, and API methods for cloud and on-premises visibility. Network discovery covers more than 250 vendors and 3,500 devices, including SDN, SDWAN, firewall, and wireless components. A software library contains over 140,000 titles and end-of-life data. Cloud discovery identifies IaaS and PaaS resources in AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and Oracle Cloud. Service mapping shows infrastructure dependencies behind business-critical applications and services. Deployment can use SaaS, public or private cloud, or on premises. Depending on storage, an instance can capture up to 200,000 servers or desktops and 200 million configuration items. Core SaaS includes one production tenant, one non-production tenant, and premium discovery for up to 500 server OSIs; customers maintain some discovery components. Pricing is based on environment and deployment needs, with a 30-day trial listed.
