Overview

Lobbytrack covers the visitor journey from registration through check-in, screening and badge printing, with notifications to hosts and security. It also tracks people on site during evacuations, extending its value beyond front-desk administration. The mix is relevant to offices, schools, hospitals, public facilities, factories and government buildings, though the right plan depends on visitor volume and locations.

Visitors can scan a kiosk QR code and complete sign-in on their own phones. The Lobby App can ask health, safety or compliance questions and block sign-in when answers fail configured criteria. Staff can scan driver-license barcodes to populate registration forms, capture visitor photos and print customizable badges.

For organizations that need screening beyond those questions, integrations with MK Data and Data Diver can check visitors against watchlists and criminal databases and alert staff to matches. Lobbytrack also integrates with Brivo, Openpath, S2, Microsoft Active Directory, Eventleaf, Zapier, Okta, Microsoft Teams and Slack. These connections make it more suitable for workplaces coordinating visitor intake with existing access and communication systems than for sites wanting only a basic visitor log.

Key features

Self-service check-in: QR-code registration on a visitor’s phone can reduce the need for a receptionist to handle each arrival.
Configurable screening: Questions can address health, safety or compliance requirements, with failed criteria preventing sign-in. That control is useful where entry depends on screening, but it also makes configured rules central to the visitor experience.
Identity and badges: Driver-license barcode scanning can prefill registration details, while customizable badge printing supports visible identification at the site.
Watchlist checks: MK Data and Data Diver integrations can flag matches against watchlists and criminal databases for staff attention.
Emergency tracking: Tracking people on site during evacuations gives the system a practical safety role beyond check-in.
Security controls: Lobbytrack states it is PCI DSS 4.0.1 compliant and regularly audited by SecurityMetrics. Its security guide says sensitive customer data is encrypted at rest with AES-256 and communications use TLS 1.2 and TLS 1.3. ISO/IEC 27001 certification is in progress.

Pricing

The freemium structure gives small sites a way to start without a subscription, but its visitor cap and location-based paid pricing are important constraints. Basic and Professional include unlimited visitors, hosts and users, so their stated distinction is price rather than a different published visitor allowance.

Starter — 0.00 USD per free: Up to 100 visitors per month, with unlimited hosts and users. It includes all Ultimate features in months with fewer than 20 visits. This is a sensible fit for very low-volume sites, but the 100-visitor cap and the under-20-visit condition on Ultimate features limit it as a dependable option for busier operations.
Basic — 50.00 USD per month, per location: Unlimited visitors, hosts and users, with no contract. It is the entry paid tier for one location that has outgrown Starter’s cap. The per-location charge means costs rise as sites are added.
Professional — 100.00 USD per month, per location: Unlimited visitors, hosts and users, with no contract. It doubles Basic’s monthly price, but the plan facts provide no separate allowance or feature distinction to explain when the upgrade is worthwhile.
Ultimate — custom pricing: Unlimited visitors, hosts and users, with no contract. Organizations needing this tier must request a quote; Starter’s feature note refers to Ultimate features in qualifying low-visit months.

A free trial is offered. Support varies by plan: Starter includes email support, while Basic and Professional include email and phone support. Ultimate lists email and phone support, with 24/7 priority support as an add-on.

Platforms

Lobbytrack supports Android, iOS, web and Windows. Its online platform works in a browser, and mobile apps serve lobby staff, employees and security guards. That range suits mixed-device workplaces, while the listed platforms do not include macOS.

Who it's for

Lobbytrack is best suited to organizations with regular visitor traffic, multiple staff roles in the arrival process, or screening and evacuation needs. Schools, hospitals, factories and government buildings may find the combination of screening, badge printing and on-site tracking more useful than a simple sign-in tool. Smaller sites with fewer than 20 visits in a month can make use of Starter’s Ultimate-feature condition; a site that regularly exceeds 100 monthly visitors needs a paid plan or another product. Multi-location buyers should weigh the per-location pricing carefully.

Pros and cons

Pro: Screening can block sign-in when visitors fail configured criteria, which supports controlled-entry workflows.
Pro: QR check-in, license scanning, photo capture, badges and host notifications cover both self-service and staffed arrivals.
Pro: Evacuation tracking and watchlist integrations extend the system into safety and security work.
Pro: Basic and Professional include unlimited visitors, hosts and users with no contract, avoiding a recurring visitor quota on paid plans.
Con: Starter is capped at 100 visitors per month, making the free option unsuitable once traffic grows beyond that limit.
Con: Basic and Professional are charged per location, so a multi-site deployment can become costly; Professional costs twice Basic without a stated differentiating allowance.
Con: Ultimate uses custom pricing, making the top tier harder to budget in advance.

Alternatives

Visitor Management Software is the category guide for comparing products across the same use case.

KyberAccess is worth considering for a similar freemium starting point: its free plan is capped at 50 visitors a month and one location, with basic check-in, badge printing, QR check-in, email notifications and email support. Lobbytrack’s Starter allows up to 100 monthly visitors.
LogBook360 may suit buyers who value broader platform coverage, including macOS and API, or need up to 150 visitor check-ins monthly on a free plan. Lobbytrack instead offers a stated free allowance of up to 100 visitors per month and includes an Ultimate-feature condition for months under 20 visits.
Envoy Visitors offers a free Basic plan limited to 50 employees and 100 entries a month; choose it if that employee cap fits your site and you want a free allowance at that scale.
Sign In App is a paid alternative with a free trial and Android, iOS and web support; its Enhanced page displays £835 per site per year.
Vizito is a paid option at 29.95 USD per month billed yearly for 100 visits a month, unlimited hosts and users, and unlimited kiosks or QR codes. It suits buyers whose expected traffic fits that quota and who prefer a defined annual price.
Vizitor offers a Starter plan at 1600.00 INR per month, billed annually at ₹19,200, for one location, 300 check-ins a month, up to 50 employees and one connected device. That defined quota may suit a single site whose needs fit those limits.
OHello! charges 99.00 USD per month month-to-month for the first office and 39.00 USD monthly for each additional office, with all features included. Its stated per-office terms may be preferable when a buyer wants a fixed multi-office price.
iLobby (now FacilityOS VisitorOS) is a paid alternative with a Corporate plan starting at 225.00 USD per month, including an MDM-enrolled 10.9-inch iPad, unlimited users, visitors and sign-ins, badge printing, and pre-registration.

Verdict

Choose Lobbytrack if your workplace needs screening, host and security coordination, badges and evacuation tracking in one visitor workflow, and its per-location pricing fits your footprint. The main reason to look elsewhere is cost predictability across sites: Starter is capped, paid tiers multiply by location, and Ultimate requires a quote.
