In their own words
Loftware NiceLabel
Loftware NiceLabel, identified with Loftware Cloud, helps companies design and print labels while coordinating labeling and product data across suppliers, sites, and processes. Cloud Designer is aimed at small to midsize or growing companies and combines a browser-based Web Designer with a locally installed Desktop Designer connected to Control Center. Labels can contain text, lines, shapes, and barcodes, with content linked to fixed or dynamic data sources. Remote printing is supported for printers connected to a computer running Desktop Designer. Licenses cover one to ten printer seats, counting each physical or virtual printer as one seat. Centralized storage, version control, approvals, role-based access, and audit trails support document governance. Cloud Business, Cloud Enterprise, and Cloud Compliance include Print, Trigger, and Document APIs; third-party API use requires a Developer Portal subscription key. Loftware Automation can initiate repetitive printing without human interaction. Pricing is on request, and a 30-day trial is available. Loftware says Web Designer does not include the full Desktop Designer feature set.
Packdroid
Packdroid generates packaging dielines from standards-based templates and lets users inspect designs in 2D and 3D. Its catalogue lists 248 templates across FEFCO, ECMA, rigid-box, and bag families. Users can place artwork on a flat dieline and view it wrapped around a folded package in 3D, then export production dielines as SVG, PDF, or DXF. The Developer API takes a template code and dimensions and returns one of those file formats for workflows such as web-to-print, ERP jobs, or quoting tools. API request limits vary by plan: Bench allows 10 per minute and 200 per day, Workshop 20 per minute and 1,000 per day, and Line 30 per minute and 5,000 per day. New accounts start free and can inspect any template's full 2D dieline; for the first 5 days, they can also download four branded cut files from DEMO templates. Paid plans start at $9.00 per month: Bench includes 45 monthly downloads, Workshop 90 and 3D folding, and Line unlimited downloads and 3D folding. Before mass production, Packdroid advises checking final dimensions, tolerances, tooling, and material behavior with a packaging manufacturer.
