In their own words
Mailmeteor
Mailmeteor runs personalized email campaigns and helps manage replies from Gmail, Outlook, and other tools. Mail merges can start from Gmail, Outlook, Excel, Google Sheets, or Google Docs. Campaign features include tracking, scheduling, templates, attachments, audience segmentation, unsubscribe management, and conditional follow-ups. Its AI assistant sorts emails, drafts replies in the user’s tone, and rewrites, improves, or shortens messages, but the assistant is currently available only for Gmail. Mailmeteor connects with Zapier and Google Sheets automations, and sent messages can be logged in Salesforce or HubSpot through a CRM BCC address. The free Hobby plan includes 500 emails per month. Paid plans start at $5.99 per user per month, with listed daily and monthly limits by tier. Mailmeteor says it requests only essential sending permissions and keeps customer data in the Google Spreadsheet by design.
TrackMailBox
TrackMailBox is a free Chrome extension for Gmail and Google Workspace that tracks email opens and link clicks. It records whether recipients open messages, how many times, and which tracked links they select, with real-time desktop notifications for both events. Gmail’s Sent folder displays Opened, Clicked, Unopened, and Untracked badges. Scheduled Gmail messages receive tracking automatically. A Best Time calendar analyzes engagement patterns across regions and time zones to suggest sending hours. Users can create, search, manage, and insert templates containing subject lines and body text from Gmail’s compose window. The Free Forever plan costs nothing, billed forever, and lists unlimited email tracking, open history, link tracking, notifications, a detailed analytics dashboard, Chrome extension access, and 24/7 email support. Opens use an invisible 1x1 pixel; tracked links redirect through TrackMailBox servers. The privacy policy says email bodies are not stored, while data transmission and database connections are encrypted and access-controlled. Corporate firewalls may block pixels, and tracking can be delayed.
