In their own words
Make
Make is a visual platform for integrating apps and automating workflows. Its no-code builder uses drag-and-drop modules, and automations can also be created in code or from a prompt. Scenarios support conditional flow control, data manipulation, HTTP requests, webhooks, notes, and analytics. Make lists more than 3,000 pre-built apps and integrations, along with custom apps and connections to public APIs. AI options include agents, tools, Maia natural-language automation building, and more than 300 AI app integrations. Each scenario action consumes credits, with some AI-provider features using more. The Free plan costs nothing and includes up to 1,000 credits monthly, two active scenarios, and a 15-minute minimum scheduled-run interval; it has no time limit and requires no credit card. Core is listed at $9 a month. Android and iOS apps can monitor phone events and perform device actions. Make lists GDPR, SOC 3, and SOC 2 Type II compliance, encryption, and single sign-on. It was founded in 2015 and is part of Celonis.
Requester
Requester is a workspace-based platform for collecting internal requests, using reusable templates, collaborating, and routing approvals. Its form builder has 27 field types and conditional logic. Requests can come through a template picker, AI-drafted chat, public intake links, inbound email, resubmission, or linked sub-requests. Approval steps can route to any reviewer, all reviewers, or an M-of-N quorum, across multiple steps. External approvers can decide through single-use email links without an account or seat, with decisions recorded in the audit log. Visual workflows include routing, branching, delays, service-level targets, and webhook steps. Listed integrations include Slack, Microsoft Teams, Discord, Google Chat, Telegram, webhooks, and Zapier; the service also describes a per-workspace public API key. The audit log records an actor, timestamp, IP address, and user agent. Free includes three approver seats and 50 requests per month. Pro is $12 per approver per month with a three-seat minimum; Business is $25 per approver per month with a five-seat minimum. Mobile access is through a PWA installed to a home screen.
