ManageEngine RMM Central is a remote monitoring and management solution for managed service providers overseeing client IT networks from one console. Its multi-tenant architecture uses probes to manage multiple customer networks. Network monitoring covers performance, health, and availability, with fault management and email alerts. Server monitoring includes Windows, Linux, VMware, Hyper-V, Nutanix, and XenServer environments. Endpoint tools can detect, test, deploy, or decline patches for Mac, Linux, and Windows devices and third-party applications. Technicians can remotely access customer devices, with chat, voice, or video calls available before connecting. Mobile device management includes enrollment, profile and application management, and security policy deployment. The product integrates with the ServiceDesk Plus MSP help desk and PSA product. Security controls described include SAML single sign-on, two-factor authentication, role-based access, and certificate-based agent authentication. The Free plan covers up to 25 devices, and a 30-day trial is available. Enterprise annual prices range from $1,195 a year for 50 devices to $64,795 a year for 10,000 devices. Xcellerate RMM is an open-core remote monitoring and management platform for managed service providers and internal IT teams. It monitors, manages, and secures Windows, macOS, and Linux endpoints, with self-hosted and cloud-hosted deployment options. Agents gather CPU, memory, disk, network, service, and event-log metrics, with alerts delivered by email, push notification, webhook, or PSA ticket.
Inventory covers hardware, software, database instances, scheduled tasks, certificates, and active listener ports. Patch controls include approvals, deferrals, and update rings; AppDeploy uses package managers such as winget and Chocolatey for fleet software delivery. Remote access includes RustDesk-based desktop access, background services, terminal, and file access. A network probe inventories network equipment and segments, with Active Directory or Samba AD, DNS, and DHCP integration. Community is free for self-hosted use, with unlimited devices and technicians.
