Maptio
Maptio is a tool for visualising how an organisation or initiative is organised and sharing that view. Users can map areas of responsibility, teams, projects, and people's roles in nested circles, showing who leads or supports work and who collaborates with whom. The Learning Hub covers creating and editing circles, tags, adding and inviting people, and working with roles. Maps can be shared privately, published at a public URL, or embedded in another website. Users can also link to external documents and resources. Maptio is presented for organisations and coaches; coaches can request an account to map multiple client organisations without a separate subscription for each. Its code is open source and can be examined, used, modified, distributed, and contributed to. The self-hosted option requires users to install and run an instance and handle setup, support, and maintenance. Maptio Standard costs $10 a month for the whole organisation, up to 300 people, and includes unlimited maps, hosted access, and human-powered tech support. A 30-day trial is listed.
Workleap Pingboard
Workleap Pingboard is a cloud-based org chart and employee directory in Workleap’s employee experience suite. It helps organizations map reporting lines, departments and cross-functional teams, and gives colleagues profiles for finding one another by role, skills and interests. Teams can make private planning charts for workforce scenarios and invite others to comment.
