In their own words
Marvel
Marvel is a design platform for creating wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and design specifications. From a browser, users can make website and app designs for different devices, then share interactive prototypes that demonstrate intended interactions without coding. Its Handoff tool generates downloadable assets and CSS, Swift, and Android XML code that stays synchronized with design changes.
Teams can organize projects in folders, create teams, and leave feedback through comments and annotations. Marvel lists integrations such as Sketch, Jira, Confluence, Dropbox Paper, and Microsoft Teams, as well as a GraphQL API for project data and design activity. Its mobile apps let users create, play, and share prototypes, with offline viewing and Sketch syncing. The free plan allows one user and one project; moving down to the free plan makes other projects inactive. Pro costs $12 a month, billed yearly, and a seven-day trial is listed. Marvel was founded in 2013 and is headquartered in London.
Zeplin Flows
Zeplin Flows helps teams map user journeys and make design intent clearer across screens. Diagrams use labels, shapes, and connectors that reposition when screens are added or removed. Teams can group screens and flows into Flow Groups and Boards, then share them through quick links. Shapes can represent actions, decisions, and branches, helping product, QA, and Support teams identify gaps and add use cases. Flows are included across plans, while Flow Boards are available on Advanced and Enterprise. The Free plan is free and includes one project, 100 screens, unlimited members, and no Flow Boards. Advanced costs $12 a month, billed annually. Zeplin offers Mac and Windows desktop apps and a web app that works on Windows, macOS, and Linux; the web app does not support uploading designs. Listed integrations include Figma, Sketch, Jira, Storybook, VS Code, Azure DevOps, Slack, Microsoft Teams, an API, and webhooks. Developer inspect view, design tokens, asset handoff, code snippets, and version history are listed.
