Nasdaq Verafin
Nasdaq Verafin is a cloud-based financial crime management platform for financial institutions. It combines fraud detection, AML/CFT monitoring, high-risk customer management, sanctions screening, case work, and regulatory reporting. Fraud alerts span deposits, checks, wires, ACH, account takeovers, cards, and loans. AML/CFT analytics examine transactions across channels alongside customer profiles and historical behavior, and can identify activity such as structuring and potential terrorist financing. The platform can identify, segment, risk-score, and monitor customers in higher-risk categories. Investigators can document cases, attach files, assign tasks, and record decisions. Currency Transaction Reports and Suspicious Activity Reports can be populated, reviewed, and submitted electronically to FinCEN. Data connections use APIs and batch files, with customized extracts and formats including Check21, NACHA, Fedwire, SWIFT, and ISO8583. The Entity Research Copilot automates open-source and negative-news research and creates cited records. An Agentic AI Workforce automates anti-financial-crime workflows from alert dispositioning through investigations and reporting.
