In their own words
Meteroid
Meteroid is a monetization platform for SaaS, infrastructure, and AI companies. It combines subscription management, usage-based pricing, quote-to-cash, invoicing, and business intelligence in one service. Billing can use flat subscriptions with overages, tiered or volume rates, multidimensional pricing, capacity commitments, and packages. The platform includes quotes and CPQ, credit notes, checkout, entitlements, webhooks, APIs, and a customer portal. Customers can view usage, manage subscriptions, change payment and billing details, and retrieve invoices through that portal, which can be embedded in a product. Meteroid says its Rust-based metering system uses ClickHouse and Kafka for real-time event ingestion and idempotent requests that count each event once. Invoicing supports an EU VAT engine or customer-specific tax rules. The AGPL v3 open-source edition can be self-hosted with Docker Compose or Helm Charts. Platforms listed are API, self-hosted, and web.
