In their own words
Metrum
Metrum combines study cycles, syllabus tracking, focus sessions, and analytics for students across its web app and iPhone app. Study cycles rotate through subjects with individual weights, while the service tracks progress and what comes next. Users can load an exam syllabus and mark topics as theory, revision, or mastered. Sessions can be timed or logged by hand and saved to history; the iPhone timer offers Pomodoro and free-timer modes with rain, café, or forest audio. Analytics compare study hours with a daily goal and show time by subject. Study groups let users share a syllabus with friends and see who is studying. Sessions, cycles, and stats sync between web and iPhone under one account. The free plan includes one study cycle and one owned group of up to five members. Pro costs $4.99 a month or US$39.99 per year and adds unlimited cycles and groups, broader analytics periods, and export. The iPhone beta is free during beta but requires iOS 26 and Apple's TestFlight app.
RoutineFlow
RoutineFlow is an Android and iOS routine planner and timer for building and following daily routines. Users create routines from predefined or custom steps, attach emojis, and assign timers to individual tasks. Listings describe notification reminders, while the App Store offers habit analytics covering the past 365 days and task duration. Google Play lists AI task breakdown, a weekly planner, routine templates, gamification, and dark mode. Product pages describe the app as designed for people with ADHD and also mention autism. Intelligent insights and recommendations based on past data are marked as coming soon. Google Play’s data-safety panel says data is encrypted in transit, deletion requests are supported, and the developer reports no third-party data sharing. The privacy policy lists Google Analytics, AppsFlyer, PostHog, and Meta ads conversion tracking. The free download costs nothing; in-app prices vary by storefront.
